PEACHTREE CITY, GA – NOVEMBER 10, 2025 – The Printed Circuit Engineering Association (PCEA) today issued a call for abstracts for the PCB West 2026 technical conference. The conference, the largest of its kind in Silicon Valley, focuses on training and best practices for printed circuit board designers and design engineers, electronics hardware engineers, fabricators and assemblers.
The four-day technical conference will take place September 29 – October 2 at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center. The event includes a one-day exhibition on September 30.Papers and presentations of the following durations are sought for the technical conference: one-hour lectures and presentations; two-hour workshops; and half-day (3.5-hour) and full-day seminars.
Preference is given to presentations of two hours in length or more, and no presentations of less than one hour will be considered.
Abstracts of 150-750 words and speaker biographies should be submitted to PCEA. Papers and presentations must be noncommercial in nature and should focus on technology, techniques or methodologies related to printed circuit board design, fabrication, assembly, test, components or packaging, and additive manufacturing.
Submit abstracts at pcbwest.com by January 23, 2026. No emailed abstracts will be accepted. Submitters will be notified by early April if their abstract has been accepted. Presentations are due August 28, 2026.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA – October 27, 2025 – The Printed Circuit Engineering Association (PCEA) announced today dates for the PCB West 2026 conference and exhibition. The one-day exhibition will take place Wednesday, September 30, while the four-day technical conference will take place September 29 to October 2.
All events will be held at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center.
Attendance at the PCB West 2025 conference and exhibition rose 3.5% year-over-year. In all, more than 100 companies, including the top CAD and CAM vendors and leading names in printed circuit fabrication and electronics assembly, exhibited at the show.
For returning 2025 exhibitors, registration will open by mid-November for PCB West 2026. Dates for other companies to register will be announced shortly.
“The show floor will be open to 2025 show exhibitors for an exclusive period,” said Frances Stewart, vice president of marketing and sales, PCEA. “Then we will open it to any companies that want to exhibit at the electronics industry’s largest exhibition and conference in the Silicon Valley.”

PEACHTREE CITY, GA – OCTOBER 15, 2025 – Attendance at the PCB West 2025 conference and exhibition held in the Silicon Valley this month grew 3.5% year-over-year, the Printed Circuit Engineering Association (PCEA) announced today. The figures include attendance for both the exhibition on October 1 and the four-day conference held September 30 to October 3.
The event, which took place at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center, attracted an international audience of engineers and other professionals from a range of printed circuit and electronics design, fabrication, assembly and advanced packaging companies.
“We are thrilled with this year’s response to PCB West and to the debut of the PCB Management forum for executives,” said Mike Buetow, president, PCEA. “It really is a testament to the direction and efforts of our board of directors and Conference task group, who put together the leading event for training design engineers, designers and manufacturers.”
“A special thank you to all those who attended the second PCB Community Meetup, which we hosted with Mobius Materials during the show,” he added.
Conference registrants and exhibitors were effusive in their praise of the access to experts and attendance on the show floor.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA – SEPTEMBER 22, 2025 – The Printed Circuit Engineering Association and Mobius Materials today announced a printed circuit board industry community meetup will take place October 1, 2025, at the PCB West trade show.
The event will feature networking and a panel discussion on the Ever-Changing Procurement Environment and will be held at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center following the close of the exhibition on October 1.
The meetup is an opportunity to discuss best practices and innovative solutions for real-time with like-minded professionals in a relaxed and informal setting. The get-together features a period of networking followed by a short panel discussion and will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Panelists include Olaf Hichwa, co-founder and CTO of Neros, a designer and manufacturer of military drones using US-sourced parts; Greg Papandrew, cofounder of DirectPCB, a distributor of bare boards and assemblies; and Creighton Chin, compliance senior associate at FD Associates, an expert in import and export compliance of controlled equipment and technology.
